    Competitiveness Realized in the Realms of Face-to-Face Teaching and Digital Platform as a Recent Trend Analysis: A Management Perspective

    This paper examines the effectiveness of face-to-face and digital platforms of teaching methodology in the context of enhancing accessibility to all students. The study is significant as it provides valuable information on how face-to-face and digital learning can be enhanced. The study was based on a descriptive research design and the sample size for the study was 100. The respondents were selected through Stratified and Simple Random Sampling based on their highest academic qualifications. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data and SPSS was used for the analysis. The results of the study show that there is an equal preference for online mode in adapting to knowledge sequences and that digital platform offers easy access and convenient learning. The study findings further reveal that the aspect of interaction as seen in both scenarios is more or less on the same level but the immediate reception is more in online links and connectivity rather than with direct interactions which may not be consistent. The results also show a significant shift in preference and demand for online learning due to its flexibility. Based on the research findings, there is a need to develop, modalities for integrating both online and face-to-face learning in delivering lessons to learners by taking advantage of the complementary systems with more access to digital media.

    Exploring Pestcide application Practices for Managing Prominant Agriculture Pests in India and around Tenkasi

    This study, conducted between November and March in the Tenkasi district, examined pesticide usage in relation to crop cultivation in Shencottai,Sundarapandiyapuram, Sambavarvadakarai, Panboli, Kadayam, and Surandi.Sunflower, coconut, raw banana, paddy, and potato were the prominently cultivated crops. Pesticides like neem oil,FAME, carbaryl, coragen, malathion, and dimethoate were employed based on specific crops, showcasing diverse pest management strategies. Analysis revealed Dimethoate as the most extensively used pesticide, underscoring its significance in pest management during the study period. The study highlighted the broader ecological impact of pesticides, emphasizing risks to wildlife and plants. Ecotoxicology, focusing on pesticide impacts, was introduced.The study noted the far-reaching effects of pesticides, considering runoff, wind drift, and the persistence of certain pesticides like DDT and chlordane. Plants' absorption of pesticides through roots and leaves indicated their susceptibility. The cumulative impact on individual plants and animals underscored the need to address potential ecological consequences. In the study urged a careful evaluation of pesticide usage, considering environmental impacts. Adhering to label instructions and exploring alternatives with lower toxicity was advised. Integrated pest management (IPM) and proactive measures to prevent contamination in crucial locations were recommended. The study proposed organic farming as a sustainable alternative, contributing to a healthy environment and human well- being.

    Perceptions of Smartphone Use in Primary Schools A Case Study of Pupils Teachers and Parents in Chikankata District Zambia

    This study explores the perceptions of smartphone use among pupils, teachers, and parents in primary schools within Chikankata District, Zambia. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions involving 150 pupils, 20 teachers, and 30 parents. The findings reveal a spectrum of attitudes towards smartphones: while many participants recognize the potential benefits for educational engagement and communication, concerns about distractions, misuse, and unequal access persist. Teachers identify challenges in integrating smartphones effectively due to limited training and infrastructural constraints. Parents express ambivalence regarding screen time and its effects on children’s behavior and learning. The study underscores the need for comprehensive digital literacy initiatives, improved infrastructure, and inclusive policy frameworks to optimize the educational advantages of smartphone use while mitigating associated risks in primary education

As for knowledge, students regard teachers as a moving store-house of information and erudition, where every question has an answer. No doubt, there are so many other books on the subject, available in the market, written by worthy authors. However, every writer has his or her own style and way of presentation. The present work also has its own features and characteristics. This particular book is titled: Teaching of Science Education. We hope that the book will prove its worth by fulfilling the needs of those for whom it has been specifically designed.     The Effects of Primary School Headteachers’ and Deputy Headteachers’ Administrative Strategies on the Job Performance of Primary School Teachers’ in Chibombo District of Central Province, Zambia

    The study investigated the eventuality of Primary School Headteachers’ administrative strategies on the job achievement of Primary School Teachers’ in Chibombo District of Central Province, Zambia. The research approach was mixed method research approach that involved the compilation and examination of data using both quantitative and qualitative approach. The research sample was comprised of 20 primary school headteachers and 150 primary school teachers. In the quantitative area of the research, systematic random sampling strategy was utilised in the selection of sample for the study. In the qualitative area of the research, non-probability sampling was used. Purposive sampling was utilised for the identification of participants to be incorporated in the sample. Questionnaires and structured interviews was used in this study. Quantitative data was analyzed deductively using the statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Elseways, qualitative data was analyzed inductively by grouping it into categories according to emerging themes. The result of the research revealed that 90% of the participants showed that the administrative techniques utilised by head teachers affected them negatively while 10% of the participants showed that they were affected positively. Furthermore, according to the results of the research, the following recommendations emerged: Encouraging teamwork among teachers and head of the school, encouraging head teachers to appreciate their teachers’ efforts, caring for educators and pupils, increasing monitoring of teaching and learning processes, encouraging participatory decision making processes, encouraging free communication among the teachers and the head of the school, creation of protected working environments, increasing enthusiasm of teachers and becoming people- oriented leaders

    Study on the effects of workload on Teachers’ self-efficacy, and well-being in the university

    This research paper presents a comprehensive investigation of the interconnectedness and interdependence between workload, self-efficacy, and well-being among teaching staff. It examines the various factors and obstacles that arise within an organizational context. This paper presents a comprehensive examination of the transformational changes that occur and are noticed within parallel references of the concepts taken to study. The examination of observational postures and the subsequent review serves as a pretext for exploring various parameters associated with these qualities, either as dependent variables or as independent variables within the context of this study. The significance of this discussion likely pertains to the impact of utilizing applications on teaching practices, specifically in relation to the quality of the teaching staff, work schedules, and workload. These factors contribute to enhancing efficiency, job satisfaction, and overall well-being among the faculty members. This research focuses on evaluating the importance of the teaching principles in order to achieve improved outcomes. However, the assessment is based on three key factors: workload, self-efficacy, and well-being. The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between the chosen topic and its associated identity. By providing a clear understanding, this research aims to highlight the potential impact of this relationship and identify any obstacles that may exist in practice.     The Impact of Covid-19 on the Education Sector in Zambia A Case Study on DMI-St. Eugene University

Re-opening of learning establishments and universities after relaxation of restriction is another ultimatum with many new standard operating systems and procedures that will be put in place. Since late 2019 after discovering the COVID-19 pandemic, several researchers have shared their findings on teaching and learning practices. Many colleges, faculties and universities have abandoned face-to-face teaching and learning practices. We tend to might lose the 2021 academic year or perhaps additional within the coming future. This recommends we’d like to introduce and implement different educational systems and assessment ways during which learning and teaching will continue however additionally putting in place the mitigation to fight against the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has given us an opportunity to introducing and improve digital learning and teaching systems to the very best level as never been before.     School Leadership Approaches and Challenges: A Comparative Study of International Schools within Zambia and Zambian Schools

    This comparative study investigates school leadership approaches and challenges in international and local Zambian schools. Employing a mixed-methods design, data were collected from school leaders, teachers, and education stakeholders to explore leadership styles, decision-making processes, and their effects on school performance and community engagement. Findings indicate that international schools predominantly use transformational and participatory leadership models, fostering innovation and collaboration, while local Zambian schools often rely on hierarchical and bureaucratic structures. Despite contextual differences, both settings face challenges such as resource limitations, staff turnover, and policy gaps. The study highlights the need for adaptive leadership development programs and policy reforms that support effective, context-sensitive leadership practices. Recommendations emphasize hybrid leadership approaches that integrate global best practices with local realities to enhance school effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction.
