Item A Study on Portfolio Evaluation and Investment Decision With Reference To Sharekhan Limited, Chennai(Imperial Journal of Interdisciplinary Research (IJIR), 2017) Ramasamy, SakthivelPortfolio management can be defined and used in many a ways, because the basic meaning of the word is “combination of the various things keeping intact”. So I considered and evaluated this from the perspective of the investment part in the securities segment. From the investor point of view this portfolio followed by him is very important since through this way one can manage the risk of investing in securities and thereby managing to get good returns from the investment in diversified securities instead of putting all the money into one basket. Now a day’s investors are very cautious in choosing the right portfolio of securities to avoid the risks from the market forces and economic forces. So this topic is chosen because in portfolio management one has to follow certain steps in choosing the right portfolio in order to get good and effective returns by managing all the risks. This topic covers the how a particular portfolio has to be chosen concerning all the securities individual return and thereby arriving at the overall portfolio return. This also covers the various techniques of evaluation of the portfolio with regarding to all the uncertainties and gives an edge to select the right one. The purpose of choosing this topic is to know how the portfolio management has to be done in arriving at the effective one and at the same time make aware the investors to choose the securities which they want to put them in their portfolio. This also gives an edge in arriving at the right portfolio in consideration to different securities rather than one single security. The manufacturing sector/ industry is of great importance to all nations because it holds the nations unique products that contribute largely to the economic structure of the nation.Item Effects of Kaizen Solutions on Organization performance A case study on road development agency & specilaized systems ltd, Zambia(International Journal of Scientific Research and Engineering Development-–, 2022) Kamwale, Kalonga; Ramasamy, SakthivelKaizenis a Japanese word which mean continuous improvement. In Japan most of the organizations, for example Toyota Motor Corporation, employed Kaizen over a long period of time and it is now part of the company’s culture and daily operation (Meldi S., 2018). In 1950 Toyota implemented quality circles leading to the development of Toyota’s unique “Toyota Production Systems.” Toyota production System is “a system of continuous improvement in quality, technology, processes, company culture, productivity, safety and leadership (Qualitiamo K., 2016).The study determined that Kaizen solutions improves organisational performance in terms of employee’s motivation, quality of products and service etc. The respondents were selected using stratified random sampling at all levels of the organization hierarch in order to reach a wide area and collect the desired information relating to Kaizen solutions and organization performance. Obtained results from the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between Kaizen solutions and organizational performance since the p-value = 0.00 was less than 0.05.This implies that Kaizen has an impact on organization performance through organization culture, employee motivation, and product and service quality to attain customer satisfaction. The study further recommends that it is vital to implement and educate or organizations on the key benefits of Kaizen solutions to improve organizational performance.Item Launching of a New Product with the Co-Branding Strategy A Case Study of Indian Brands(International Journal of Management, 2020) Ramasamy, SakthivelIn recent years, the practice of co-branding has attracted a large number of research scholars and practitioners. Many of the researchers are also done their research articles with branding or co-branding. Commonly co-branding deals with the combination of two or more brands into a single product. Where co-branding is concerned with a marketing plan to associate with multiple brand names in a single product. The researcher discussed the general classification of brand associations. The paper reveals two classifications of the statements. The first is to form the general classification of Co-branding. The second aims of this paper are to promote the model of co-branding. The paper is also dealing with analyzing the theories of brand association and brand extension. As a result, a number of performance appraisal and its techniques have over time been devised to help establish employee‘s performance. In the recent times, there has been the usage of this appraisal in assessing employee’s performance in most of the organizations in Zambia. Other organizations have sort to motivate their work force as a way of enhancing their performance towards goal achievement of organizational goals. This study‘s main objectives pertained to establishing the moderating role of performance appraisal as a motivation tool as well as potential challenges. The specific aspects of performance appraisal systems (PAS) that help improve motivation include the linking of performance to rewards; using the PAS to help set objectives and benchmarks; as well as the use of PA to help identify employee‘s strength and weaknesses.Item The Effects of Social Media on Consumer Buying Behaviour-A Case Study of Barclays Bank PLC Vs Zanaco Bank, Zambia(International Journal of HR & Organizational Management Insights & Transformations, 2020) Ramasamy, SakthivelThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of social media on consumer buying behavior studying the two banks namely Barclays bank and Zanaco bank Zambia. This study was guided by the main objective which was to examine the impact of social media and its effects on consumers. This research used qualitative design which compares one banking marketing strategies against the other. This study was analysis their entire objectives effectively on through the various ways. Finally, it was concluded that prescribed social media sites offered effective messages to the consumers, particularly from the organization site, this has also relieved in brand positioning among in social media. Social media assistance to create a strong loyal with organizations and features or facilitates are exchanged the information with others in online users.Item The Impact of Social Cash Transfer on Rural Livelihood in Zambia(2020) Ramasamy, SakthivelThe article is focused on the impact that the social cash transfer has on the lives of the rural people. To assess the impact, the study will use processes involving literature reviews and field visits to institutions mandate to manage the scheme. Interviews will also be conducted with the beneficiaries through the help of an interview schedule that the researcher with design. Thus the main objective was to assess the relevance, appropriateness, sustainability, and impact of social cash transfer schemes in Shamwinda Village in Chibombo District, Zambia. It can be concluded that the research was successful because all the objectives that were alluded to in the first research were met. The findings were more positive than negative according to the article title, which is the impact of cash transfers on rural livelihood. Although it has been discovered that a higher percentage of the beneficiaries did not use their money to invest but on food. Therefore, it can be concluded that social cash transfers have played a tremendous change in the diet of the beneficiaries in Shamwinda Village
